1999 16.1h, Dark Bay Thoroughbred Mare located at Weave a Dream Farm in Hampstead, MD.  Arista has done limited low level competing in eventing, dressage and hunter jumper.  W/T/C nicely and jumping 2’6” but has and can jump higher. She has a very willing attitude and wonderful work ethic.  Brave to the jumps - has schooled cross country and stadium fences up to Beginner Novice. She hacks across the countryside alone or in the company of other horses – she will lead or follow. Any new place she has gone to she has behaved wonderfully.  Good low level eventing prospect or combination hunter/jumper or dressage/jumper.  Not for a beginner rider.

Arista is very kind and well mannered; she has a sweet personality and is easy to work with on the ground - ties, cross ties, stands quietly.   Arista will be easy to finish - she is extremely willing, smart and athletic. She listens and works hard to do what you ask of her.  She has excellent manners, hauls, and baths. She is a bold and willing jumper and a great opportunity for a rider looking for a fun, safe project. Shots/coggins UTD.  $5,800 – NEGOTIABLE to good home.  Contact: Jill Davis at jwdavis1@loyola.edu or 440-227-1163 or visit www.weaveadreamfarm.com.

Foxy Lady - a beautiful 16 year old chestnut  mare  QH/TB (Appendix) was  schooled through Prelim  by a C3 pony clubber!  She was sold to a D1 4 years ago and took the rider to the D3 level.  Currently the owner has lost interest in riding.  I (Katie Stokes) was going to keep her for a while to do my C3 and then decided to wait until next year, because I just don't have the time  (and not to mention have 10 horses to take care of besides Foxy!)   This horse is wonderful!  I wanted to get her back to the upper levels before selling her, but just don't have the time for that either.  I ride her when I can and the horse has been wonderful.  I ride her bareback with a halter with no problem.  A few days ago I put on a bridle and rode her bareback over small jumps in the open!  This horse would be perfect for a D rider with ambitions to go a long way. She would not do well with a child with confidence issues.  I think over time Foxy would learn to take advantage of a timid child.  She has really nice movement and should be doing USEA Eventing!   She has wonderful ground manners, trailers and is happy in a group or by herself.   If you are interested in seeing her, please call me 410-980-2616.  We are asking for $6,000 or best offer, this is a steal!  If I had the time to get her to the higher levels she would be priced much higher.

"Joe"- Sweet, 17h 12 year old grey Percheron. Would make a great dad's horse, but unfortunately my father doesn't have time for him now. Joe has been a yard ornament for a while, but has excellent ground manners. He clips/ties/loads/etc. very quietly.  Will need some conditioning because he hasn't been ridden consistently, but walks/trots/canters solidly. Joe is a ton of fun to have around, goes unshod and is an easy keeper. Price negotiable, going for best offer. Desperate (but sad) to sell, trying to buy new horse for Pony Clubber, but no room on the property.

Stubben Edelweiss for sale, 17 wide chestnut colored saddle, good condition, maintained by C2 PCer. Was used for jumping and hunting, very comfy. All stitching is solid, and only a few minor marks from rain. Has passed many turnouts, cleans up beautifully. Asking $400 or best offer.

022108e_mattie.jpg (158331 bytes) "MATTIE"
Mattie is a 10 year old, 14.1 hand, unregistered breeding stock paint mare. She is up for adoption for companion or broodmare purposes only to a good home. I do believe that she has reining bloodlines. She is not riding sound. I purchased Mattie in 1999 when she was a yearling from her breeder. At 3 she acquired EPM which has left her with permanant muscle atrophy in her left hind quarter. She has been a pasture ornament ever since but sadly due to finances, she must find a new home ASAP. In 2006, she carried her first foal with no complications and was a great momma. She is a beautiful and kind little mare that would (and has) produce fabulous offspring. Shipping is available for a fee.

022108d_reven.JPG (105774 bytes) "REVEN"
Reven is a 7 year old, 15.1 hand, Thoroughbred mare.  Reven is a homebred that has become a pasture ornament. She is an extremely sweet and mild- mannered mare that needs a job. She is a nice mover and would be suitable as a children's hunter, fox hunter, or polocrosse horse. She is quiet and veratile enough that she could do it all with time. I have introduced her to the polocrosse racket and ball which she handled well. She has been turned out for about a year but once in consistent work, she tunes quickly. We have too many pets...our loss is your gain! $1200

022108c_harlee.JPG (100508 bytes) 'HARLEE'
Harlee is a 9 year old, 16.1 hand, bay Thoroughbred mare.  Harlee is a  homebreed TB who has become yet another pet. She is a fast learner and  really wants to please. She hacks quietly alone or in a group in a
snaffle. I fox hunted Harlee for the '05-'06 and '06-'07 season with the Beaufort Hunt. She hunted in a snaffle and checks perfectly after  runs. I apprenticed whipped off of her and she did not mind leaving the field or having the whip cracked off of her. She flats great and does balanced and controlled transitions and is consistent with basic lateral work. I have used Harlee at Polocrosse practices which she handle like a pro. She is extremely versatile and has a ton of untapped potential. Unfortunately, Harlee has been sitting in the pasture since the conclusion of the '06-'07 season because of time constraints, hence the reason she is priced so reasonably.  $2800 (would be willing to work a deal with a pony club family).

022108b_Mcdreamy.jpg (159176 bytes) 'MR. McDREAMY'
Mr. McDreamy is a 3 year old, 15.2 hand bay Thoroughbred gelding. McDreamy is by far one of the most affectionate horses that I have ever encountered. He was in race training, but is too slow to continue. He had 3 months of professional training on a farm before he went to the racetrack.  He is extremely quiet and he has a natural suspension in his movement that makes him appear to be floating above the ground. He is still young and has a lot of maturing and filling out to do. He is a complete package...looks, movement, and temperment. You could not ask for anything else in a young horse. If you are looking for your next A-rated hunter or dressage horse, he is worth considering.  $3500

022108a_MaryKay.jpg (169556 bytes) 'MARY KAY'
Mary Kay is a 4 year, 16.2 hand, Belgian/Quarter Horse cross filly.  She is a gentle giant but more refined than your typical draft. I  broke her in the summer of 2007. She was ground driven extensively and once under saddle she walk/trot/cantered and was responsive to aids.  She was also trail ridden. She has spent the winter turned out with a  TB yearling. She is extremely kind, quiet, and patient and deserves a human companion of her equal. Just a great horse with a ton of  potential. $2000

For Sale: 10 yr.old 14.1h very dark bay Welsh/Arab pony mare. Sadly outgrown in size but not in ability. “Bella” taught my daughter to be an aggressive rider, going from a timid D2 “passenger” to a confident D3 “rider”. She jumps 2’3” easily and is doing 2’9” in her lessons. She has done rallies, elementary level eventing, BBN pipe opener, and schooled BN xc jumps, banks, ditches and water. Previous owner did hunter shows. She is currently in regular training with a private dressage instructor and is coming along nicely. She is safe and fun on trails, will lead or follow, crosses streams and is not bothered by traffic, dogs, balls, wildlife, etc. She is well behaved in the ring, out in the open, or standing tied to the trailer or on crossties and is easy to work around in the barn. Up to date on shots, deworming, dentistry and farrier care. She is unshod and has never needed shoes. She has excellent ground manners, loads and travels without any problems and is an easy keeper. Has a sweet temperament and gets along with other horses in a group. In the two years that we’ve owned her, we have never had any lameness or other health issues. Asking $6500. Lovely Trakhener mare for sale.  17 years old, gray, 16.1 lovely mover and trained to second level.  Has jumped  but is best suited for dressage at this point in her life.  Has been off for a few months with a pulled shoulder but is being conditioned now and ready to be put back into work.  She has fantastic transitions, great lateral work and a wonderful canter. Very good ground manners.  I would like to find her a good home with someone who wants to persue their dressage training. $2000 somewhat negotiable to a good pony club home.

Very versatile 7 year old 13.2 sport pony gelding (wide body model).  Does everything from fox hunt to hunter ponies (year end champion by 65 points over his closest competitor), dressage - solid training level ready to move up, has schooled cross country to Novice and is used in pony club by D's and C's. Has been shown by riders up to 5'3 comfortably as he is built wide. Great manners on the ground and for vet/farrier, etc. asking $10,500 but can be negotiable if he goes to a family who will give him a good/fun home. Not for a small beginner as he is built like a tank.  Best with a rider who expects mutual respect between pony and rider ;)  Can go as far as the right rider wants to take him.

Buttons-  AKA Heart Of Gold
Cute medium pony mare, 15yrs, 13.3 h, nice mover, brave on trails, sportpony potential for hunter jumper, eventing, or competitive trail. Has been schooled over fences in the past.  Good ground manners.  Will
do anything for you as long as she trusts you.  Has some issues with trailer loading and being caught, but both get better every day. Requires a sensitive rider with a quiet seat and good hands.  Would work
out great for a small adult or experienced young rider.  Also has potential for pony club....might make a great games pony!
